Philosophy
Regarding lesions, Andrew T. Still, the founder of Osteopathy, once said: “Find it, fix it, and leave it alone.” Fabio believes that the human body has the power to heal itself, and that the role of the osteopathic practitioner is just to adjust whatever is preventing this natural healing process. Once it is fixed, we must give the body the time it needs. He uses this concept to guide his therapeutic interventions.
Educational Background
Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Fabio da Graca Bocchetti earned his diploma in Physiotherapy from the University Estacio de Sa in 2004. Following this, he achieved a two-and-a-half-year postgraduate degree in Acupuncture from the Brazilian College of Acupuncture, and a six-year postgraduate degree in Osteopathy from Escuela de Osteopatia de Madrid (Madrid School of Osteopathy).
Areas of Practice
Over the past 13 years, Fabio has treated many patients and clients with musculoskeletal disorders and other conditions that are not restricted to this system, such as insomnia, migraines, gastroesophageal reflux, vertigo, etc. Fabio has the most past experience with amateur and professional athletes as well as the elderly population, and postural imbalances, however, he would love to gain expertise with new clientele and patients.
Personal History
As a Brazilian, Fabio has a great passion for soccer. He is a big fan and supporter of the Fluminense Football Club, from his hometown of Rio de Janeiro. Fabio loves to practice outdoor sports, such as hiking and jogging. He also practices Brazilian jiu-jitsu and tennis (which he is working really hard to get better at!). Furthermore, because of his rich Italian background, He loves sitting down with a plate of pasta and a glass of good wine. Since moving to Canada in March of 2016, what Fabio misses the most from Brazil and Italy is the coffee. The soothing familiarity of this tasty beverage takes Fabio back home. While in Canada, Fabio became extremely involved with jogging. He loves running through False Creek and exploring the different areas of Downtown Vancouver. He plans on maintaining this hobby as it brings him a sense of freedom and a connection to the beautiful nature in our city.

Yvonne is a graduate of the Master of Physiotherapy program at the University of Sydney in Australia and moved back to Vancouver in 2016. Growing up in Vancouver, Yvonne attended Simon Fraser University and received a degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation. Prior to relocating to Sydney, Yvonne had extensive experience working as a Kinesiologist in both occupational and rehabilitation settings.
Ever since suffering injuries from playing sports as a teenager, Yvonne has developed a passion in treating the knee and shoulder. She also possesses a strong interest in sports related and post-surgical cases. As a physiotherapist, Yvonne utilizes a variety of manual techniques (ex. soft tissue release and joint mobilizations), modalities (ex. ultrasound), biomechanical analysis, education, and exercise prescription to assist clients in getting back to their pre-injury activities, whatever it may be. She is always ready to go the extra mile for her clients and her holistic approach to treatment will help identify and correct factors, leading to the reduced risk of re-injury.
In her spare time, Yvonne enjoys playing sports (golf, volleyball and tennis), traveling, and trying different cuisines.

I graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy after completing 570 hours in the student clinic, 325 of which were spent hands on treating clients. I believe that with today’s stresses, relaxation must be incorporated into treatment for the body to heal. A combination of relaxation and therapeutic treatment is essential for a successful outcome with clients.
I worked as an exterior siding contractor for many years before becoming a clinic manager in a multidisciplinary clinic. This is where I began to notice how beneficial massage therapy can be to a client’s health. After long discussions with my wife, I decided to change career paths to become a RMT even with a new baby on the way.
My passion for helping others began early in my life, and I continue to seek knowledge and development as an RMT. I believe that no two bodies are the same, so we cannot treat them in the same way. Customizing treatments for each client by not only listening but also hearing their needs.
I like to spend my free time chasing my two daughters, golfing, running, playing baseball, curling, fishing, and generally enjoying the outdoors.
“Time and health are two precious assets that we don’t recognize and appreciate until they have been depleted.”

Mariana was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Being passionate about sports since childhood, she became a semi-professional track and field athlete. She fell in love with Physiotherapy at age of 15, when she injured her hip during a national competition. She graduated from the Bandeirante University of Sao Paulo in 2012 and acquired a Post-graduation in Human Physiology.
Since her graduation, Mariana started to work with clinical Pilates techniques and focused her approaches to help mid-age and geriatric patients to achieve their rehab goals, for instance after a stroke, with simple and effective exercises. As a physiotherapist, she likes to teach her patients how to regain control of their own body after an injury, within their capacities and limitations. She believes that the human body is like an engine and exercise is the oil that makes it run smoothly.
In 2021, she completed a Business Certificate at Capilano University, and
she is expanding her Physiotherapy education in vestibular rehab, concussion management, and manual therapies.
She is currently taking The FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine course to expand even further her sports rehab repertoire.
In her free time, she enjoys spending her time outdoors hiking and discovering new cafes throughout Vancouver. Her Lebanese and Italian family background plays a role when she is cooking and receiving friends at home for a bottle of good wine!
